Chief among TMANA’s support initiatives is the 22-year heritage event Promise Cherry Beach. The series features hand-chosen djs, live music, dance performances, drumming ensembles and larger than life art installations.

The event echoes similar events occurring worldwide - Barcelona’s Brunch In the Park, Montreal’s Piknic Electronik, Brooklyn’s Mr. Sunday and more.

Promise Cherry Beach's audience includes friends of friends, friends of music, and friends of Cherry Beach. They are artists, music lovers, performers, moms and dads and homeowners. They are of all age, ethnic and sex-identifying communities. With 10000 people of all ages and backgrounds coming through the gates every year, Promise Cherry Beach has introduced generations of people to the magic of Toronto’s East-end parks. 

Economic Generation

Promise Cherry Beach has for 22 years driven all-important cultural dollars to creators and creative administrators. It is responsible for 50 paid staff positions and presents over 90 artists annually.
